At the local level, I look to expand access to emergency care in my community by starting and co-owning several freestanding emergency rooms to provide patients with an efficient and effective alternative to spending sometimes hours at the hospital ER while awaiting treatment. At a more national scale, I’m the founder and CEO of several nationally top-ranked medical and education technology companies focused on increasing healthcare knowledge and agency improvement.

Since 2021, I have been serving as a Medical Advisor to Dr.B, a telehealth platform pioneering the concept of “visitless prescriptions” — making prescription medications more affordable and accessible for anyone, including no-cost care to low-income Americans. Dr. B is live in over 40 states and funded by venture capital.

Combining my personal experience in emergency medicine with a passion for education, I’ve designed several online training courses to help doctors and nurses pass their board examinations. Through my online and in-person programs, I’ve trained over 1 million physicians and medical leaders.

liveClinic was the world’s first and fastest growing platform to store personal health records, and helped physicians sustain their outpatient practice. As Chief Medical Officer and co-founder, I provided medical oversight for the platform allowing users to sign up in seconds, securely store their data, find all their health history in one place, and earn points for being healthy.

I believe in supporting opportunities to show the public what really happens behind the scenes on America’s health care frontlines. In addition to Desert Doc, I’ve also been featured as a medical expert and physician in over 1000 media appearances, including Untold Stories of the ER (TLC & Discovery Life), and serve on the Board of Directors for Meaningful Media, which focuses on quality and accuracy in medical media. I was an executive producer of the Iraq War documentary Triangle of Death available on Amazon Prime Video.

To ensure my companies all reached profitability in the first year, I was personally involved in all aspects of business model development and marketing for each company. With these in-the-trenches experience in entrepreneurship, I’m passionate about paving the way for other companies. I act as a strategic advisor to several venture capital, private equity, and Fortune 500 companies focused on healthcare. With over 15 years of running my medical education programs, I can also consult on digitizing your content for delivery at scale.

In legal matters, I am qualified to serve as an expert witness in the field of emergency medicine. In this role I can provide consultation, record review, deposition, and testimony on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in negligence actions.
